FORT MYERS, Fla. (Dec. 10, 2014) – Mosaic artist Wilson Lopez and Lili Gequelin, owners of Ultimate Mosaic, have joined the Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA), the largest nonprofit mosaic art organization in the world. SAMA, founded in 1999, is comprised of 900 members at all levels of the craft.
Lopez brings a fresh, contemporary approach to this ancient art form. His work ranges from small and medium size art pieces to large-scale installations for walls, floors, outdoors, kitchens, baths and more. His clients include homeowners, interior designers, hoteliers and business owners from Southwest Florida, Miami and even Hawaii. Each piece is certified and copyrighted to ensure authenticity.
“Our association with SAMA will enable us to create strong ties to other arts organizations around the world and help us share knowledge, expertise and interest in mosaic art,” said Lopez.
Ultimate Mosaic’s gallery and studio are located at 11400 Metro Parkway, Suite 3 in Fort Myers, Fla. Classes in the mosaic arts will be offered starting in Jan. 2015.
